We believe there is scope for renewed creativity using existing product offerings, so we aim to inspire and educate our formulators looking to create an exciting formulation. Taurate surfactant range Innospec’s range of taurate surfactants provide exceptional flash-foam and ae excellent for formulating at extreme pH making them suitable for acne-prone, sensitive skin. Mixed foam profile, ability to create large and small bubbles. Mild surfactant with low irritancy profile. High foaming in the presence of oil and sebum, suitable for anti-acne applications. Variety of forms available in powder, paste and mobile liquid providing an easy manufacturing. Readily biodegradable and derived from natural resources making these grades environmentally friendly.

Isethionates range that produces a dense, creamy lather. Mild, low irritation surfactant, ideal for sensitive skin. Low water solubility, but can be used at low levels with certain co-surfactants to give clear systems with enhanced creamy foam properties. It can also be used at higher levels in opaque systems for further foam enhancement, if desired. Ideal for making mild, long lasting sticks and bars. Different forms available: flake, powder and noodle. Making manufacturing an easy process. Readily biodegradable and derived from natural resources making these grades environmentally friendly. pH stability range 6.0–8.0.

Unique, sulfate-free Isethionate surfactant range. Produces a dense, creamy lather with high flash foam for a luxurious shower experience. Mild, low irritation surfactant, ideal for sensitive skin. Excellent water solubility for use in crystal clear systems. Easy to handle forms available: high concentrated flake, cold process liquids and surfactant concentrates – making manufacturing an easy process. Readily biodegradable and derived from natural resources making Iselux® environmentally friendly. pH stability range 5.0–9.0 providing a flexible formulating experience and preservative compatibility freedom.

Alpha Olefin Sulfonate range, meets nine of the principles of green chemistry. Small bubbles for creamy foam and a luxurious shower experience. High foaming capabilities with high oil containing formulations. Available in powder or low viscosity aqueous solution form, enabling a convenient simple manufacturing process. pH range of 3.0–10.0 enabling extreme pH formulations. Readily biodegradable therefore environmentally friendly. Sulfate-free, EO/PEG-free and safe at all use levels. Readily builds viscosity with amphoteric surfactants providing a low cost system.
